When you use Veniara (or any third-party service) to store or process tax return information, IRC Section 7216 and Revenue Procedure 2008-35 require written consent from your clients. This consent must be obtained before you upload their tax data to the portal.

Duration: This consent is effective from the date of signature until revoked in writing.
Revocation: I understand that I may revoke this consent at any time by providing written notice to my tax preparer. Revocation will not affect any disclosures made prior to revocation.
Acknowledgment: I understand that my tax return information will be encrypted in transit and at rest, accessible only to authorized personnel at my tax preparer's firm, and subject to Veniara's privacy policy and security practices.
